I am a woodworker in Durham, North Carolina. Most of my projects involve my Laguna 15/24 wood lathe and the Shapeoko 3 XXL computer controlled router (CNC).
My specialty is designing, cutting and finishing hardwood signs. The Shapeoko CNC is well suited for these projects and can currently handle signs up to 28″ wide and 22″ tall. I buy kiln dried North Carolina hard maple, cherry and walnut but sometimes use pine or cedar depending on the request.

On the lathe I cut bowls made from local fallen hardwood trees and can create segmented bowls from cut pieces of kiln dried hardwood. I also have the equipment needed to incorporate epoxy resin mixed with hardwood.
Along with my sales, marketing and product finishing guy, we have made many corporate logo signs and some that are more suited to family and friends. I can design an idea from scratch or copy a digital image. Check out the product catalog to see samples of my work.
