Circular shallow resin and barn beam bowl
This was a rather complex project. The pieces of hardwood were cut in such a way to fit into the resin mold and glued to the mold so not to float when the liquid resin was poured. The wooden piece in the center is a piece of a 100 year old barn beam , possibly hickory, cut in a circular shape.
Finished on the lathe after a 3-day cure in a pressure pot.
